The Epson R2400 is a great printer but it either delivers terrific prints straight out of the box or they are distinctly ordinary. My 2400 fell into the latter category and the prints varied from OK to really terrible.
Several times I've googled on the above topic, but never found a system or method that gave me the great prints I expected and I do mean GREAT prints that I've seen from other peoples EPSON R2400. On gloss, matt, proofing paper and even plastic sheets and AFTER MUCH searching, I have now found the solution!
Contact the nice people at FOTOSPEED and ask them about the wonderful QUILL continuous ink system. If you buy your paper from them they'll supply bespoke, customised for your printer, ICC profiles to get the best images for the least amount of ink.
Already happy with your R2400 prints? then the QUILL and the custom ICC profiles will use less ink and still improve the results!
It's not only Epson R2400 they can work their magic on, the R4800, R7800 and the R9800 too.
